Terms of Service
Last updated: August 15, 2026
These terms govern your use of this website and the application behind it. They apply both to customers who send us an enquiry, accept a quote, or open an account, and to our own staff who use the application to run the work. By using the site or signing in, you agree to them.
The service
AstoSeMas assembles, installs, and moves furniture and equipment. Through this site you can ask us for a quote, follow what we are doing for you, and accept or decline the price we offer. The same application is used by our staff to plan work orders, schedule appointments, dispatch technicians, and record the outcome of each visit.
Enquiries and quotes
- An enquiry is a request, not an order. Sending one costs nothing and commits neither of us to anything.
- A quote is our offer to do the work described in it, at the price shown, for the items and quantities listed. It is not an invoice and nothing is charged when we send it.
- A quote holds until the date shown on it. We may withdraw or replace a quote before you accept it, and sending you a revised quote withdraws the earlier one.
- Accepting a quote — from the link in our email or from your account — forms a contract between you and us for the work it describes. We will then contact you to arrange a date.
- A quote covers what it lists. If the work turns out to involve more than we were told or could see, we will tell you before doing it and agree the difference with you.
Prices and VAT
The prices of the individual lines on a quote are shown before VAT. Below them we show their sum, the VAT at the rate in force, and the total, which is the amount you pay.
Payment
Nothing is taken through this site. Payment is arranged directly with us, on the terms we agree with you when the work is booked.
Changes and cancellation
- Tell us as soon as you can if you need to change or cancel a booked appointment, and we will do our best to rearrange it.
- If our crew cannot carry out the work on arrival — because access is not possible, the items are not ready, or nobody is there to let us in — we may have to rebook the visit.
- We may cancel a booking if the work turns out to be unsafe or beyond what we can do. If we do, you owe us nothing for it.
Your right to withdraw
If you are a consumer and agreed the work at a distance — through this site, by email, or over the phone — you have 14 days from the day the contract is formed to withdraw from it, without giving a reason. Tell us within that period and you owe us nothing.
If you ask us to start the work inside those 14 days, you may still withdraw, but you will owe us a fair amount for what has already been done by the time you tell us. Once the work is fully carried out with your agreement inside that period, the right to withdraw ends.
These rights are in addition to anything the law gives you for work that is not done properly, and nothing in these terms takes them away.
Accounts
- Anyone can open a customer account to follow their enquiries and answer a quote. You must confirm your email address before you can see anything on it, because that is what proves the account is yours.
- Staff accounts are created by an administrator. You may not create an account for someone else or share your credentials.
- You are responsible for everything done through your account, and for keeping your password, passkeys, and two-factor codes safe.
- Tell us immediately if you believe your account has been used without your permission.
- If you sign in with Google, you must comply with the Google Terms of Service as well as these terms.
Acceptable use
You agree not to
- use the application unlawfully, or to store data you have no right to process
- send us an enquiry, or open an account, using someone else’s contact details
- attempt to access accounts, data, or systems that are not yours
- probe, scan, overload, or otherwise interfere with the service or its infrastructure
- copy, reverse engineer, resell, or provide the application to third parties without our written permission
- upload malicious code or content that infringes the rights of others
Google Calendar integration
Connecting a Google account is optional and is offered to technicians only, never to customers. When you connect it, you authorise the application to create a dedicated calendar in your Google account and to create, update, and delete the appointment events it contains. You can withdraw that authorisation at any time from your settings or from your Google account permissions page. Google is an independent service and we are not responsible for its availability, or for changes it makes to its terms or interfaces.
Customer data
Customer details recorded in the application may only be used for the job they were collected for. Staff must not export, copy, or share them outside the application, and must record only what the work actually requires. Our handling of personal data is described in the privacy policy. Privacy Policy
Availability and support
We work to keep the application available and to keep your data safe, but we do not promise uninterrupted service. Maintenance, updates, third party outages, and events outside our control may interrupt access. Where practical, we announce planned maintenance in advance. If the site is unavailable, it does not affect work we have already agreed with you.
Intellectual property
The application, its source code, design, and trademarks belong to us or to our licensors. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the application for as long as your account is active. The data you enter remains yours.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, the application is provided as it is, without warranties of any kind, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, or loss of data. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, including liability for death, personal injury, fraud, or gross negligence, or your rights as a consumer.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms or poses a security risk. You can ask us to close your customer account at any time; we will keep whatever the law requires us to keep, for the periods set out in the privacy policy. Staff accounts are also closed when employment ends.
Changes to these terms
We may amend these terms as the application develops. The date at the top shows when the current version took effect, and we will notify you of material changes. Continuing to use the application after a change means you accept the new terms. Work already agreed with you stays on the terms that applied when you accepted the quote.
Governing law
These terms are governed by Greek law, and the courts of Greece have jurisdiction over any dispute, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence.
